- Nickname-names fell once again (Tom, Jim, Jack, Greg, Tim, Ronnie, Bill, Rick, Mike, Willie, etc.)
- Non-nickname once-syllable names rose (Troy, Shawn, Sean, Joel, Brett, Brent, Shane, Chad).
