  • Place names continue to fall (Sydney).
  • Names ending in "la" grew in favor (Stella, Isla, Mila, Isabella, Ella, Bella, Delilah).
  • Names ending in "na" fell in use (Angelina, Brianna, Arianna).
  • Nature names were stylish (Ruby, Stella, Isla, Willow, Nova, Ivy, Autumn, Hazel, Luna, Aurora).
  • The middle-"v" sound remained stylish (Olivia, Everly, Nova, Evelyn, Nevaeh, Avery, Ivy, Ava).
  • Unisex names remained in favor (Avery, Harper, Quinn, Peyton, Addison, Rylee).
  • Musical names were stylish (Harper, Aria, Piper).
  • Names ending in "ora" returned to favor (Cora, Aurora, Nora).
  • Names with the "m-y" structure no longer trended (Molly, Kimberly, Melanie, Mackenzie).
  • "Mad" names were still common (Madison, Madeline, Madelyn).

  • Long names ending in "a" remained fashionable (Olivia, Victoria, Isabella, Valentina, Amelia, Sophia, Aurora, Gabriella, Eliana, Gianna, Ariana, etc.)
  • The mid-"p" sound became stylish (Harper, Penelope, Piper).
This marks the end of my series for girls' names (for now). What was the most interesting change from the 2010s?
