  • Nature names no longer trended (Hazel).
  • Names ending in "s" fell from use (Gladys, Beatrice, Agnes).
  • Names ending in "arlene" trended (Arlene, Darlene, Marlene).
  • Single-syllable "j" names still trended (Jo, Joan, Joyce, Jean, June, Jane).
  • Short single-syllable names began to trend (Gail, Jo, Sue, Kay).
  • Spanish names remained on-trend (Juanita, Dolores, Delores, Rita, Anita).
  • Long names were still in favor (Carolyn, Roberta, Loretta, Josephine, Louise, Marjorie, etc.).
  • Names containing "or" remained in heavy use (Florence, Marjorie, Dorothy, Dolores, Doris, etc.).
  • Names ending in "da" or "ta" trended (Anita, Rita, Linda, Wanda, Roberta, Juanita, Brenda).
  • Names ending in "ma" were still in favor (Wilma, Norma, Emma, Thelma).
